Adding Integers

If you don't know what integers are, pay close attention, because you will fall behind.

Integers - a set of whole numbers and their opposites.

Say you have -7 and you what it to be an integer; take off the sign and it will become a positive. Your answer will be 7.

That was simple, let's continue. Now, that you know what an integer is, we can move on to problems.

Example

-22+-4+-26

Now that you understand how to solve integer problems, we can move on to more difficult problems.

-22+-18+22= -19

Equations and check

So if you really are struggling with equations pay close attention!

First you have to understand what a equation is.It is a mathemadical sentence that shows that two expressions are equivalent.

Example:
x-8=17
+8 +8
x =25

Ok now that wasnt to hard. So now we have to do the check.

The check is the easiest part . It is when you have to reveiw your work to make SURE it is WRITE!

Example:
x-8=17
25-8=17
17=17
x=25
